The New Museum & Second Library Of Shenzhen Art Museum is located in Longhua New District, Shenzhen. It is a large-scale modern, international, and digital comprehensive cultural building. The new museum is an art mecca that showcases the spirit and cultural connotation of Shenzhen city and provides cultural exchanges; Shenzhen Second Library is an important cultural platform for book collection, book reading, and knowledge discussion. The overall shape of the building is simple and generous, with a pure and clear sense of architectural volume. As a public building, the two Longhua pavilions are fully integrated with the city. The design reinterprets traditional Chinese architectural elements (roof, base, large steps) through rich modern architectural techniques. Through a wealth of techniques to show the high degree of condensation of the cultural and artistic spirit of China and Shenzhen. In terms of spatial order, art galleries and libraries are located on the east and west sides of the site, expressing the vastness of Chinese culture with the architectural space of Chinese natural view and ritual sense. In terms of architectural form, the volume of the building is square, and the overall form is interlocking with each other. The slight changes in the partial facade present a relationship that complements each other and complements each other. Abstract architectural symbols and architectural features express the mutual integration of culture and art. In the open space, Shenzhen's spiritual tradition is continued with an open and inclusive attitude. The huge sun-shading roof and the building pedestal communicate directly, creating an open space for public cultural exchanges and adapting to local culture and modern urban life, striving to provide Shenzhen citizens with an open urban exchange living room and smart experience.
