ChangchunPoly Longview Exhibition Area

The project is located on the Yitong River in Changchun. The designer follows the principle of 'modernity, light and shadow, nature, and culture', adopts a square volume, white tone, and is accompanied by a waterscape, combined with curtain walls, making the building like a 'beautiful jade' floating in the nature of Changchun center.

The project aims to be concise, modern, and agile. It adopts the integrated design method of architecture and landscape. Through the design of glass curtain wall and cantilever, it realizes the contrast between reality and lightness of the building, forming a natural extension of outdoor landscape to indoor. The transparent glass body, the gentle ground floor exterior wall, the vertical spiral staircase and the suspended cubes create the effect of the body floating in the vertical direction and stretching on the ground in the horizontal direction. It is like a sculpture embodying minimalist aesthetics.

The simple and pure design language endows the architectural form with vitality and artistic sense, and at the same time integrates the natural and cultural aspects of Changchun, so that the warm and moist urban humanities and the ethereal poetic nature coexist, arousing resonance between the scene and the art.
